Savannah HS switching to fixed-blended education model

SAVANNAH, Mo. - The Savannah R-2 School District is changing things up as the pandemic rages on. According to an email the school district will transition the Savannah High School to a fixed-blended education model starting next Wednesday.

Classes won't be in session at the high school next Monday and Tuesday as the school prepares for the transition. Other schools in the district won't be impacted.

The fixed-blended model will be in place through the rest of fall, and will be re-evaluated at the end of the semester. The change comes amid a growing number of quarantined students and absences.
